"18 years of a woman’s life isn’t a cost. It’s an invaluable benefit to a family and to our country, to our social fabric and to our national strength and values."

The staff of the Providence St. Vincent Medical Center in Portland Oregon are helping to raise plenty of attention for the issue with their Pink Glove Dance video. FANTASTIC!

Let's get people listening
I want to give women a place to tell their story of their health, specifically related to the benefits of self-exams, early detection and treatment of breast and cervical cancers.
I want all women to respond to this, whatever your point of view.
I have one, and I sure wish someone had asked.
"The USPSTF recommends against routine screening mammography in women aged 40 to 49 years. The decision to start regular, biennial screening mammography before the age of 50 years should be an individual one and take into account patient context, including the patient's values regarding specific benefits and harms. (Grade C recommendation)"
What can we do?
We can have a voice.
Tell your story: about yourself, someone you know, someone you knew, who found their cancer through early detection.
Do it here and let's get people listening to the real cost of the cure.
With love.
